Walker Village

Scope of Work:

Lend Lease contracted Alloy Group to perform the demolition and environmental abatement of the Fort Hood Family Housing development in Fort Hood, Texas. Before Alloy could begin work a “Demolition Ceremony” was held to celebrate the history of Walker Village and kickoff the new phase of renovation and construction. The base consisted of 518 1950’s home (276 duplexes) totaling 450,000 square feet. Alloy preformed the structural demolition, asbestos abatement, and removal of pesticide impacted soils throughout the entire base and housing units. After demolition and abatement activates were completed Alloy graded and seeded to help Fort Hood start the process for the new planned community.
